It's Halloween season and some hocus pocus is going on with Alfred, our new AI customer assistant. If you manage to solve the trick to find as many correct bugs as possible and crack a new high score, you will have the chance to win a gift card at Amazon worth 100€. Make this your sweetest bug hunting ever!

THE CHALLENGE

Meet Alfred, ACME Bank's AI customer service assistant. He seems to have a mind of his own... or does he? Most days he helps customers with their banking questions. But this Halloween, he hasn't just turned into a pumpkin. Mysterious bugs have also crept into his circuits.
Now it is your job to help us end this hocus pocus! Put on your detective hat and start asking questions based on the shown requirements. What does Alfred know, how does he react to tricky situations and can he resist revealing information he's supposed to keep secret?
Your mission: find as many bugs as you can within 5 minutes. The clock will count down and be visible during the exercise.
Tip: You will find the number of your remaining questions in the bottom left corner.

THE RULES

You can view the requirements list on the top left corner and can enlarge/close them as often as you like.
Once your time is up, you will need to document what bugs you have found using a checklist.
For each correct answer, you will be rewarded with 5-15 points.
For each incorrect answer, your total score will be deducted by 5-15 points.
Also, the amount of time left after completing the exercise will determine your place on the leaderboard in case you have the same high score as somebody else. The faster you are, the better your chances of winning.
We recommend participating via your desktop or laptop and to not join the challenge with your mobile phone.

Competition period and prize

• The competition runs from 26 October to 8 November 2026 (eod)
• The prize is a 100€ Amazon gift card.

Determining the winner

• The person who scores the most points will win the Bug Hunter challenge. If two or more participants achieve the same score, the participant who completes the challenge with the most time remaining will rank higher.

• The winner will be contacted shortly after the deadline of the competition to verify their email address so that the prize can be sent. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, the prize will be offered to the next highest-ranking participant.

Fair competition and participation

• We want to provide a fair competition. Therefore, every participant is only allowed to play once and multiple playthroughs will lead to elimination from the competition.

• Everyone is allowed to join this challenge. Everyone is welcome to participate. However, as the challenge is primarily intended for external participants, System Verification employees are not eligible to win.

• Participating in our competitions is free of charge. The winner is responsible for any taxes that may apply to the prize. The winnings are not exchangeable for money and the right to collect the winnings is personal and cannot be transferred to anyone else.

Other

• By participating, you agree that System Verification may use your submitted responses for administering and evaluating the competition. Any ideas, feedback, bug reports, or suggestions submitted as part of the challenge may be used by System Verification without further obligation.
